Wooden frame, 42 x 34 cm, with gilt crown on top.
Seated studio portrait of the queen of Italy and spouse of Victor Emmanuel III. With autograph signed dedication for "Alta Contessa Elena Carrobio". Riccardo Bettini (c. 1880-1960), based in Rome from 1908, photographed the changing Rome of the 1st decades of the 20th c. and was close to the Italian royal family.
