María de Jesús de Ágreda, the "Santa Theresa of the Baroque" (1602-1665) is famous for her "Mystica Ciudad de Dios" (1st 1668) which was translated in Latin, French, German, Italian and other languages. There also was a flowering of manuscript translations in many countries. The present manuscript proves that she was also read in the vernacular in convents of the Low Countries.
