Considerably annotated ed. (1st 1570) of a standard work on Christian art and symbolism by the Louvain theologian J. Molanus (1533-1585), ed. by his 18th-c. successor J.N. Paquot (1722-1803). He inserted supplements, one of the most interesting of these is a detailed list of 140 books on art arranged chronologically, giving printing places and formats.
