Old crimson morocco, triple gilt ruled border on covers, gilt flat spine, gilt inside dentelles, a.e.g., marbl. endpapers (covers sl. stained along edges). Nice copy.
Extr. rare copy printed on vellum of the original 1st printed edition of the Statutes of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The Latin trsl. most probably was the work of the Dutch Neolatin poet Nicolaus Grudius (Everardi, 1504-1570), who at that time was treasurer of the Order. Ref. Bibl. Belg.
