Rare autograph letter by the famous Königsberg philosopher Kant (1724-1802), addressed to the Magdeburg Rector J.A. Otto (1747-1814), announcing 22 subscriptions to Otto’s edition of a selection of Cicero’s speeches (Magdeburg 1777). The letter was first published by Paul Mentzer in 1930 ("Ein unbekannter Brief Kants", in Kant-Studien, vol. 35).
