Further on illustrations dealing with topography, agriculture, hunting, buildings, etc. Many of the account is based on Kolbe's own observations compared to theories of earlier writers. He informs us about the customs and habits of the Hottentots, there is also an account of the VOC government of the Cape and the earliest list of South African animals. Title in red & black.
