Contemp. calf, gilt-orn. spines with raised bands & red leather title labels, red edges (corners bumped, sl. rubbed, some tiny scratches, 1 head sl. def.). Nice large paper copy.
Only Dutch edition of the "Flandria Illustrata" (reissue of the ed. The Hague, C. van Lom, 1732) by Sanderus (1586-1664). This work contains descriptions of the county of Flanders, the history of the Dukes of Flanders, and the cities of Ghent, Bruges and Ypres. Engr. ill. (some by J. Harrewijn): title-vign. by D. Coster, 16 (7, 5, 4) endpieces, 50 full-page portraits, 18 maps (9, 7, 2, i.a.
