Rare ed. containing the complete ordinances of the Order of the Golden Fleece, founded by Philip the Good in 1430. Ill. with 2 engr.: the devise of the order "Ante ferit quam flamma micet" and the coat of arms of Charles V, member of the order since infancy and later its grandmaster. Some woodcut initials.
