Contemp. vellum, flat spine titled in ink, remains of ties (loosening, soiled and stained, head and tail def.). Working copy.
Extensive treatise on Latin versification (syllable quantity and length) by the Spanish Cistercian theologian Caramuel (1606-1682), who lived sometime in the Spanish Netherlands (Ten Duinen and Leuven) and completed his ecclesiastical career in the Holy Roman Empire.
