Third ed. of this collection of poems by Antonides van der Goes, preceded by an introduction and biography of the author by Van Hoogstraten. The author is mostly famous for "De Ystroom", an ode to Amsterdam, present in this work. Engr. ill.: portrait by Pieter van Gunst, after Ludolf Bakhuizen, 5 fullpage pl. by Romeyn de Hooghe, already used for the first ed. of "De Ystroom" in 1671 and 3 vignettes by B. Bernards after J. Goeree. Title in red and black.
