Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red spr. edges (dampstaining, two wormholes in spine).

First edition of a collection of inspired replies in history, i.a. those of Democritus to Darius, Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, Hannibal, Jean de Meun, Matthias Corvinus and Louis XII. By J. Le Febvre (d. 1693), Canon of Arras Cathedral.
