Lot description

Daguerreotype, 7 x 9,3 cm.

Under passe-partout, in a stucco black sculpted frame (def. to two corners, traces of use, verso reinforced).

Payoit was "pharmacien des hospices de Mons". Jacques Barboni was an optician and part of the photographer's convoy with L.P.T. Jacques gave up the business on his son's death in 1866.
