New collected ed. of 3 devotional compagnon works by the Jesuit J. Andries (Kortrijk 1588 - Brussels 1658). Contains a general title and 3 separate titles "Perpetua crux", "Altera perpetua crux" and "Perpetuus gladius". Ill. with nice engravings after the Brussels artist Antoon Sallaert (1590-1648): 1. Vign. on title and 40 full-page pl. (scenes of the Life and the Passion of Christ); 2. Engr. title and 36 smaller engr. (representing the diff. stages of the Mass); 3. Front. and 15 engr. (scenes of the life of the Virgin).
