2 parts in 1 vol., 8vo: [12]-239, [12]-347-[1] ff. (paper age-toned).
Contemp. German blind-stamped pigskin over wood (only lightly soiled), boards with blind-rolled portraits of Christ the Saviour, John, Paul and David with underneath the captions "Data est mihi om[nis] / Apparuit benig[n] / Ecce angnus [!] De[i] / De fructu ventri[s]", spine with 3 raised bands, bevelled edges, fore-edge titled in ink, clasps and catches gone (causing sm. def. at back cover). Good copy.
Very rare edition of a major work by Dionysius Carthusianus (Dionysius van Rijkel, 1402-1471), dedicated to G. Sarens, abbot of Sint-Truiden. Mark on titles.
