4 vol., 4to: [26]-676, [32]-598, [4]-687, [536] pp. (some sl. foxing in vol. I, (damp)staining to vol. II, sm. marg. tear to f. [4] repaired in vol. II, staining to vol. II (p. 35 heavily), vol. IV (index) sl. browned).
Contemp. red morocco, covers ruled with a triple gilt fillet, gilt orn. spines with raised bands and arms on tails, gilt roll-stamps on edges, gilt inside dentelles, gilt and marbled edges (some sm. traces of use). Nice set.
Collected works of Ovid, edited by Daniel Crespin (1641-1716), Professor of Eloquence in Lausanne. Illustrated with the portrait of Ovid on titles and a headpiece with the arms of Louis de France at dedication. Titles in red & black.
