Original photograph, albumen print, 18,7 x 24,5 cm, mounted on cardboard, not signed.
Tourists riding camels posing near the Great Sphinx of Giza. In the foreground an Egyptian boy in traditional clothes. In the background tourists walking to the pyramid. Photo possibly ascribed to the Zangaki brothers: George and Constantinos (as they are presumed to be named), active in Egypt and Algeria from 1870 to 1880 who specialised in photographing ancient monuments and scenes of everyday life.
