First edition by the Italian Professor and Somascan father G.M. Stampa (1666-1734). The first part "Ludus serio expensus" written in Latin and Italian verses and prose deals with gambling and the lottery game. The second part "De arithmetica progressione" is a mathematical treatise on the use of mathematical progressions for the study of probabilistic calculation applied to gambling. One folding table.
