1. Den forordnede Nye Kirke-Psalme-Bog efter hans Kongl. Majestets allernaadigste befaling […] til Trykken befordret af Th. Kingo, D. [...]. Copenhague, N. Moller, 1759. 12mo: 308 pp. (trimmed close to edge, mss notes on the flyleaves). Black morocco, gilt fillets and roll frame, fleuron in the corners, 2 chiselled clasps with hallmarks "P" and "82", and engr. provenance mark, five raised bands on spine decorated with gilt roll and a sm. rosette, all edges chiselled and gilt (sl. cracking on spine). Book of Psalms ed. by Thomas Kingo (1634-1703), Danish poet and Lutheran bishop of Funen. Lutheran catechism at the end. Woodcut frontisp. by Christoph Georg Glasing, title in red and black. Prov. 2. Im Namen Jesu! Die Heil. Bibel, Alt- und Neues Testaments, nach der Uebersetzung Doct. Martin Luthers [...], Auch ein Gebet- und Gesang-Buch, herausgegeben samt einer Vorrede von D. Joh. Frider. Mayern, P.P. [...]. Alt Stettin [Szczecin], widow J.F. Spiegel, (1762). 8vo: 23-[1] pp., 576-158-[2] ff., 34-12-127-[3] pp. (foxing throughout, sm. hole in the last leaf). Black morocco on bevelled wooden boards decorated with blind fillets and sm. tool frame, 4 chiselled silver corners, central oval plate with engr. provenance marks, 2 chiselled clasps, all decorated with latticework and palmettes, four raised bands on spine decorated with blind fillets, all edges chiselled and gilt (sm. pieces missing on turn-ins, spine sl. curved). Old and New Testaments, and "Auserlesenes Gesang-Buch" have their own title-page, the 1st printed in red and black, the 3rd dated 1762. The foreword, dated March 1708, is the work of the German Lutheran theologian Johann Friedrich Mayer (1650-1712), professor of theology at Wittenberg University. Ref. Pompejus, 1799. 16mo: [4]-201-[3] pp. (sl. browning, some foxing). Black velvet on bevelled wooden boards decorated with a large rococo silver metal frame designed with cut and embossed palms and flowers, central oval plate richly framed, with engr. cypher on the upper board, 1 clasp, flat spine with 3 silver metal plates decorated with a large flower and bound to the frames of the boards with hinges, a.e.g. (endpapers renewed). Collection of exercises of piety, by a German Catholic theologian and educator (1735-1806) established in Bohemia. Text framed, woodcut front. Prov. "LM" (engr. cypher on oval plate).
