Contemp. black straight-grained morocco on wooden bevelled boards decorated with a blind frame of fillets and small fleuron, gilt lettered super ex-libris on the upper board, two clasps with openwork interlacing designs, five raised bands on spine framed with blind fillets, amber and gold decorated endpapers sign. "REUMUND NURNB No 18", a.e.g. (sl. rubbing). Nice copy.

2nd revised ed. (1st ed.: 1794). Oval engr. vignette by Paul Jacob Laminit on the title, dated 1801. Well preserved, nice "Dutch-gilt" block-printed endpapers from the factory of Paul Reimund (1764-1815), in Nuremberg.
