2nd edition of the French translation by François Flory and published one year after the original Italian edition. Although the copper-engr. map of the Netherlands and the wood-engr. map of Holland are missing, all other woodcuts from the original Italian edition are present. The rare and large pl. of the Antwerp city hall is newly engraved on copper by the brothers Doetecum (missing from most copies). Further illustrated with 2 front. incl. the coat of arms and the portrait of Philip II.
