Contemp. black galuchat on wooden boards decorated with a large silver frame cut, embossed and chiselled, representing ribbons, flowers and foliage, 2 large clasps in the same style with figures in medallion representing on the clasp-plates a man with a bilhook and another one with a fruit basket, on each strap a hunter with his dog and on the back two hallmarks ("31/JK" and a lion), flat spine, a.e.g. (inside upper joint split). Nice copy.

Dutch edition of the Bible agreed by the States-General, printed in two col. and divided in 5 parts: Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, evangelical songs, and catechism (the two last with music scores). Ill. with 1 engr. general title and 31 pl. representing biblical scenes. Approbations with mss sign. of the censors. Nice silver ornaments with bucolic and hunting figures.
