New edition of "Miroir de la bonne mort" by de La Vigne, 1st published Amsterdam, 1673, together with a Dutch version. Here with notes by de Chertablon. Ill. (complete) with 42 unsigned engraved plates (numb. A-C & 1-39; pl. A bound as front.), copies, smaller in size and many in reverse, of Romein de Hooghe's etchings for the 1673 ed. Very nice set of plates of Baroque inspiration, some allegorical, most presenting the dying surrounded by numerous characters, angels, putti etc.
