Later edition of this gathering of three works originally published as "Trois livres de la santé, foecondité et maladies es femmes" in 1582. Opinions are divided as to the authorship of this book. Barbier mentions Liébault as author, but the work is often catalogued as of Giovanni Marinelli. Wellcome also attributes the work to Liébault (1535-1596), French agronomist and doctor. Our copy is probably an unrecorded (?) variant issue published by the widow Gabriel Buon. The other issue, as mentioned in Barbier, BnF, USTC, etc. publ. by Michel Sonnius. Woodcut on title.
