2 parts in 1 vol., 8vo: [32]-218, 95-[7] pp. (dampstain at bottom).
Old gilt-ruled calf (corners bumped, some sm. def., some soiling), richly gilt spine with 5 raised bands (def. at head & tail), brown leather title label, gilt sides, gilt inside dentelles, marbl. endpapers, red edges. Good copies.
Enlarged reprint (1st 1568) of this medieval martyrology of the Benedictine monk Usuardus (d. 875) by the Leuven theologian Molanus (1533-1585), dedicated to Cardinal Granvelle. The second part contains the editor's Chronicle of saints from the Low Countries. Woodcut printer's mark on titles.
