Translation with commentary of the writer and militarian Lancelot Turpin de Crissé (1716?-1795?). Illustrated with 40 fold. plates figuring battle plans. The title mentions a map of Gaul by d'Anville but the "table of plates" only lists 40 plates and doesn't mention the map.
