Half black shagreen, green cloth covers, gilt titled flat spine.
6 life-sized coloured lithographs with descriptive letterpress "as a sort of sequel to the work on Falconry publ. by the author in conjunction with F.H. Salvin, Esq. in 1855, and as better adapted by size of the drawings, that of life, to illustrate more fairly the beautiful creatures with which the Falconer has to deal". "The drawings are, when practicable, portraits of trained and favourite birds which have been in the possession either of the Author or of his friends, and comprise all the British species at present used in Falconry".
