4to: 586-[2] pp. (marg. wormholes, marg. notes, min. fox., staining, soiling, tear in p. 7, title sev. dam. and all margins cut off and underlaid).

Contemp. calf, spine with 3 raised bands, red leather title label (quite some dam., spine with restorations, corners bumped).

In 1684, the widow Schipper published "Van de Grootdadigheyt der Breedt-Vermaerde Regeringhe van de Stadt Brugge...", which is the translation of De Damhouder's "The magnificentia politiae amplissimae civitatis Brugarum". Our book is dated 1688 and turns out to be exactly the same translation, provided with a new title. This same work was reissued in 1699.
