Contemp. sheep, gilt orn. spine with 6 raised bands, brown leather title label, red sp. edges (rubbed, corners bumped, some tears, front joint splitting, head & tail def.). Good copy.

Profusely illustrated relation of the 1735 Jubilee commemorating the (antisemitic) legend about sacrilegious attacks by Jews on the sacred Hosts in 1369, with remarkable architecture plates (some signed by Harrewijn and Krafft). Illustrated with 26 (20, 6) etched plates in armorial rococo woodcut borders and 24 (18, 6) etched plates representing triumphal arches (1 with "Manneken-Pis"), 4 folding. Woodcut front. & 2 plates.
