2 parts in 1 vol., 12mo: [16 incl.front.]-1/86, [2]-89/521 to 521 pp., 28 (of 29) pls (lacking 3rd part and map of Sas van Gent in 2nd part, trimmed upper margin, reinforced marg., stain on maps of Arras, Mons and Valenciennes).
Cont. vellum, ink titled flat spine, red sp. edges (us., spine defective).
Later Latin 12mo ed. of the "Descrittione" by Guicciardini (1521-1589). Engr. ills: title and 28 (of 29) maps i.a. Antwerp, Limbourg, Malines, Luxembourg, Ghent, Sluis, Hulst, Lille, Arras, Cambrai, Mons, Namur and Liège. This volume includes the first and second part of the 1660 edition, i.e. the general introduction and the part on the Spanish Netherlands, but not the third part about the Seventeen Provinces (Belgica Foederata) that was often bound separately.
