First edition of this important genealogical work presented to the young Prince Balthasar-Charles, son of Philip IV, as a memorial of the seniority of his lineage and as a series of examples to follow. Ill. with the engr. seal of Philip IV on title, the author's portrait and 22 genealogical tables accompanied by a series of engravings, within pagination, reproducing more than 600 seals or counter-seals of the princes designated in the text by an asterisk and a plate (p. 152) illustrating the coats of arms appearing on the seals of the House of Flanders, with the exception of those appearing on the seals of the Counts.
