Beschrijving lot
Chromolithograph, 80,5 x 145,7 cm, stone signed and dated, 4 stamps (vert. and horiz. folds, tears, few losses and soiling).
Framed (no glass).
Poster on the "Courtois case" (crimes committed by three criminals against women) showing "une scène galante" of a man playing violin to a woman before robbing her. It is adorned for the first time with chestnut leaves, a motif that would become a recurrent feature in later years.
