First edition of the French translation by François Flory and published in the same year of the original Italian edition. Complete with all the woodcuts, that come from the original Italian edition, and with the 2 engr. pl. figuring 1 double-page map of the Low Countries by Cornelis de Hooghe and 1 folding view of the Antwerp city hall. Dated 1565, the latter bears the name of Silvius and is larger (c. 30.5 x 56 cm) and more beautiful than the one in the Italian original ed.
