Contemp. overl. vellum, flat spine, blue edges (traces of closing ties, some very light soiling).
Large compilation of regional histories of the Southern Netherlands by the Leuven historian Gramaye (1580-1635). As usual the order of the various parts differs from one copy to another. Containing these 6 parts (in order): Leuven, Brussels, Antwerp, Aarschot, Tienen and "Gallo-Brabantiae" (consisting of Nivelles, Gembloux, Genappe and Jodoigne). Ill. with 2 engr. pl. inside collation (i.a. "Parcum Dominorum") and enriched with 5 loose engravings (St Peter's Church and the city hall of Leuven (on 1 f.), the University Hall of Leuven, Tervuren Castle, a view on Grimbergen and the Castle of Westerloo). Parts Brussels, Aarschot, Tienen, Gembloux, Genappe and Antwerp with separate titles within woodcut border (with date 1606 or 1610 (Antwerp)).
