Rare map of China, part of Korea, the larger isles of Taiwan ("Formosa") and Hainan, and some smaller isles, engr. by J. van Loon, largely based on Blaeu's map. It shows the Great Wall of China, a sea battle and 4 ships. Title cartouche surrounded by Jesuits and Chinese men. Originally published by J. Janssionius in 1657. Verso blank.
