Collotypes, 12,2 x 17 cm, mounted on cardboard (sl. spotted), photographer's address.

Photos of patients (men only) and healthcare workers in diff. settings. Outside: walking, before the entrance, in the garden, working in the stables, etc. and inside: the main hall, the hospital wards, doing the laundry, the cooking, etc. The hospital has a long history and the site now gives place to the 2 psychogeriatric departments of ZNA Joostens. Climan-Ruyssers (1873-1932) was active in the "Rue du Jésus" between 1899 and 1920 and made collotypes at this address from 1906 onwards.
