Contemp. sheep, spines with raised bands, renewed title labels, red edges (heads, tails and corners restored, joints rubbed, boards scratched).
Second ed. of this topographical work, profusely illustrated with large views of abbeys and monasteries. This ed. is particularly interesting from a topographical viewpoint because of some renovations to the buildings since the 1st ed. (1656-1666), the new pl. are oriented differently as well. Engr. ill.: 1 front.-portrait of Sanderus by F. van Bleyswyck, headpiece with portrait and coat of arms of the dedicatee Marie-Elisabeth by F. Bleysweyck, 3 title-vign. by D.
