3 vol., 4to: [56]-434-52-[72], [68]-658-[49], [32]-680-[61] pp. (sl. browning, some spotting, light water stains in vol. I, tiny wormtrack in last ff. of vol. III).

18th-c. marbled calf, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (rubbed).

First edition of this historical work by the Liège historian and theologian Jean Chapeaville (1551-1617). Includes works of the Jesuit Gilles Bouchier (1576-1665). Woodcut printer's mark on titles.
