2 parts with continued pagination in 1 vol., folio: [20 incl. front.]-1/330-[8]-331/1009-[3]-20 pp.; 2 pl. (half title missing, sl. dampstaining, very occ. fox., some quires sl. browned, cancel pasted on p. 320, pp. 509-507 inverted, low corner of p. 511 missing, wormtrack in upper margin at the end of the vol., last p. soiled).
Contemp. marbled calf, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (sl. rubbed, head def.).
First edition of this genealogical work on Flanders by P. de L'Espinoy (1552-1633). Engr. ill. by a later hand: front. by M. Baes, coat of arms of the Archduchess Isabel, rare fold. plate by Maes showing the Counts of Flanders, part-title in portico, 1 full-page pl. showing the Virgin of Ghent, 1 full-page plate showing the coat of arms of the author and +/- 1000 coats of arms in-text (54 copper-engr.). Title in red & black with printer's mark.
