Beschrijving lot

In 4 boxes with label "Lumière & Jougla", ms. legends in French on the glass plates, original viewer included. Very good condition.

Box 1 (23 pcs): a destroyed zeppelin in Revigny, retreat to Dormans, Gruerie Forest, German trenches, convoy of prisoners in Courcelles, prison camp Somme 1916, prisoners of the Americans in Château-Thierry, destroyed church of Barcy, Fort Verny, destroyed factory in La Fère, mobilisation of Alsatians, remains near Verdun, trenches in Calonne, "corvée de pinard" in the Vosges.
Box 2 (26 pcs): trenches on Mount Cornillet, dead bodies in Laffaux, the capture of Courcelles 1918, liaison agent in Craonne, trenches towards Carency, bombardment of Parroy Forest, the citadel of Verdun, Jean Chaput and his 11th victim. Chaput (1893-1918) was a French World War I flying ace credited with 16 aerial victories. He was killed in action on 6 May 1918.
Box 3 (25 pcs): machine-gunners against planes on Mount Kemmel, flooded Flanders, the capture and prisoners in Courcelles 1918, the advance from Harelbeke 1918, boat bridge over the Yser, Ypres in ruins, horse artillery in Nieuwpoort, soup distribution near the Yser, Nieuwpoort bridges, "Tranchée des baïonnettes" in Verdun, Fort Malmaison, French general Joseph-François Poeymirau injured, explosion of a "420", the battle of Quennevières.
Box 4 (23 pcs): bombarbment Arras 1915, plane shot down near Reims, the village of Bucy-le-Long with the anti-British slogan "Gott strafe England" used by the German army painted on a house, a German Gotha (plane) shot down in Compiegne, Senegalese riflemen in Reims.
Joined: 11 albumen prints: church of Lo June 1916, military men clearing the way after the bombarbment at Lo in 1916, launching a bomb from the trench called "Casbah" near Diksmuide, launching of the grenade "Delattre" at Caeskerke in 1917, first line trench june 1917 at Noordschote, take over of a German machine gun, footbridge to the German lines at Oud-Stuyvenskerke, military post near the Yser at Noordschote.
