Black chalk, c. 53,1 x 37,5 cm, laid paper with watermarks (IHS with IVILLEDARY, crowned shield with fleur-de-lys and IVC), signed and dated "G. Kamphuisen Fecit 1765" (some spots, flattened fold at top).

Good condition. Hinged at upper edges. Under passe-partout. Nice, large pair.

A gentleman, wearing a lace collar and cuffs, and a wig; a lady, her dress set with lace, wearing a lace bonnet, holding a fan in her right hand.
