Stuck by edges on a framed passepartout.
Face in a numbered grid of 22 x 17 cases, maybe a preparation for a cameo or a medal work ? Perhaps this beautiful drawing may be attributed to a member of the French family Duvivier, engravers and medal makers originally from Liège. Jean (1687-1761) and his son Benjamin (1730-1819) are the most well-known. Prov. [Georges Petit].
