Oriented to the east, this large wall map (total dimensions when mounted 85 x 177 cm) depicts Palestine with the Twelve Tribes of Israel situated on both sides of the river Jordan. Inset maps with the pilgrimage of Abraham ("Peregrinatio Abrahae") and the wanderings of the Israelites in the Sinai Wilderness ("Itinera et mansiones deserti").
