Translation by Phayer (c. 1510-1560), paeditrician, lawyer and author, of the works "Summaire tressingulier de toute médecine et cyrurgie" (also issued under other titles) by the surgeon Goeurot (1501-1552) and "Régime contre la peste" by the physicist Nicolas de Houssemaine (d. 1523). The "Booke of the children" on how to cure children's diseases, is a compilation of various authors. In Gothic type; some orn. initials.
