Contemp. sheep, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (corners and covers shaved and with scratches, spine rubbed and joints starting to split).

Edition very similar to the one by Janssonius (Amst. 1613) of this chorography of the 17 Provinces by the Italian resident and author Guicciardini (1521-1589) first publ. in Italian in 1567. Ill. (complete) with an engr. title and 78 views.
