18th-c. marbled calf, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (some min. def. on side-edges and corners).
Posthumous revised ed. of Meyerus's "Compendium chronicorum Flandriae" (1538), edited by his nephew Antonius Meyerus. An early humanist history of Flanders, from the Counts of Flanders until Charles the Bold. Title within orn. border, large woodcut Steelsius mark on 1st and last page.
