1st edition of the French translation attributed to Boisguilbert (1646-1714) of Xiphilin's abridged version of Dio Cassius' Roman history. Copy in a nice binding with a cypher erroneously attributed in a recent manuscript note to Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon (1678-1737), Count of Toulouse.
