First edition of this late medieval chivalric novel about Jacques de Lalaing (1421-1453), member of the Order of the Golden Fleece. It was long attributed to the Burgundian chronicler and poet Chastelain (1415-1475). The editor Chifflet (1615-1676) added a still useful study of the Lalaing family. Engr. portrait of Lalaing.
