Written from Bruges and addressed to a "dear Canon" about a congress in Antwerp he must refuse to attend to because he heard it has "a very bad spirit" and he asks the Canon to host for a day, at his home in Brussels, his friend, a "catholic surgeon" who operated him, - London, 16 April 1862, 1 p. 8vo., in French, with the env. preserved. To the Countess of Schaenberg, about the catalogue of the "Société de Saint-Anselme" he is sending. He assures her that all the books on the list are orthodox. - 3. Manning, Henry Edward, Cardinal (1808-1892), second Archbishop of Westminster: 1 p. 8vo, 30 Oct 1876. He thanks Mrs Sibelth for her kindness in "sending me game".
