Engraving, 18,3 x 22,0 cm, laid paper, signature and address "M. de Vos invent. / Adrian. Collaert sculp. et excud.", Latin text, numb. 50 in pen (sm. light stain in lower margin, traces of former mount on verso).

Mounted on paper at left edge. Very good impression with wide margins. Good condition.

Final print from a large series on the life, Passion and Resurrection of Christ. Unrecorded proof before the number 51 was added in the plate as described under the 1st state (of 4) in the New Hollstein. This dark impression has the number 50 in pen. The engraving was the 50th print in the series before the title plate was added and all plates received their final number.
