Very rare first edition of this work on Robert d'Abrissel (1045-1116), the founder of the Order and the influential Abbey of Fontevraud (Anjou), in the form of a letter to P. Bayle. Attributed by Barbier to M. Soris (monk of Fontevraud), by Celani to G. Daniel. Complete with the very rare supplement "Eclaircissemens, notes, critiques, ou additions" with date "1702" on title.
